However, the reasoning they give for the Earth days becoming shorter is that somehow someway the Earth is spinning faster because of activity such as Earthquakes, volcanic activity, or even melting glaciers somehow causing the entire Earth to “spin faster”

However we know this is far from the true and impossible as Earth is not a spinning ball floating in the void of space. Earth is an immovable plane of existence at the bottom of reality, the sole physical plane. Earth extends infinitely outwards horizontal with a vertical ceiling of 78 miles where the firmament begins.
