Bartie Musa Commentary: At this point I’m fairly certain the Eagle King does not regard or is as beholden to approval ratings as much as he was during the first Trump administration. Simply put he is playing for keeps this time, not as POTUS but as the Eagle King. A King entrenches his power across multiple dimensions, the approval rating of his subjects is not always relevant. That is where we are at this point.
