Esau Edom is “the wicked”, not just a man who has done wicked deeds, but he is the embodiment of evil, death, destruction, chaos, and the source of wickedness, the root cause of destruction on the planet Earth. The Earth was GIVEN unto his hands for a moment, and we’ve seen what he’s done with it.
