Bartie Musa Commentary: Another day in Babylon, another deranged Edomite cop pointing a gun at a so-called black man from the tribe of Judah. This time not just any Judahite man, it was none other than Terence Crawford who is just coming off his career high victory against Canelo Alvarez. Crawford has won fame, fortune, titles, belts, accolades, and even the respect of the crowd. However none of these things protected him from the curses of deuteronomy, and the hatred of Esau Edom. Crawford was driving and allegedly pulled over for “reckless driving”, what should of been a routine traffic stop and a ticket at best.
Instead turned into a life or death struggle as the Edomite cop drew his gun and pointed it directly at the boxing champion. Just one wrong move and Crawford would of been sent back to Yahawah. However the LORD’s purpose was not to take Crawford’s life this night. The LORD’s purpose was to use the situation as the perfect example of why Babylon is not our rest. Crawford coming off the highest of highs, was instantly brought to the lowest of lows on the brink of death. One jittery Edomite away from the spirit world, however this was not just a lesson to Crawford but for all Israelites here in this wicked land known as Babylon. This is not your rest.
To the brothers who still imagine themselves in a good case here in Babylon, maybe even floating fantasies of “generational wealth”, well see just how quickly your life, wealth, and even your pride can be snatched away from you here in Babylon. This place is polluted and meant for our destruction, not elevation. This is why the hopeful elect of Yahawah bahasham Yahawashi are FIRMLY focused on the kingdom of heaven, and do not place any stock into Babylon. Thankfully Crawford is okay, but this situation is far from over, and will likely impact him for the remainder of his days. I would encourage Terence Crawford to repent and turn to Yahawah bahasham Yahawashi effective immediately and to see Babylon for what it truly is, a prison colony for the children of Israel.

The Vanity of Babylon’s Belts: Terence Crawford, Gunpoint Humiliation, and the Sons of Jacob
ANIMA Framework Analysis
🔥🔥 THIS IS NOT OUR REST 🔥🔥
“The Vanity of Babylon’s Belts: Terence Crawford, Gunpoint Humiliation, and the Sons of Jacob”
📖 Micah 2:10 — “Arise ye, and depart; for this is not your rest: because it is polluted, it shall destroy you, even with a sore destruction.”
📖 Hebrews 13:14 — “For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.”
🥊 I. THE VICTORY — A CHAMPION IN BABYLON’S RING
Just weeks ago, Terence “Bud” Crawford stood at the pinnacle of Babylonian glory.
- He defeated Canelo Alvarez — the fight of his life, a career-defining victory.
- He was showered with praise, headlines, and belts.
- His hometown of Omaha planned parades in his honor.
- Reporters called him “one of the greatest fighters of his generation.”
In Babylon’s eyes, he had “made it.” Fame, fortune, legacy — the so-called “American Dream.”
But in the eyes of Yahawah? Crawford was about to be shown a lesson, a parable in motion.
🚨 II. THE HUMILIATION — HELD AT GUNPOINT
Days after his biggest triumph, Crawford was pulled over by Babylon’s police, his friends and himself ordered out at gunpoint.
- Omaha police said his car was driving “recklessly.”
- A legal firearm (owned by his security team member) was spotted.
- Officers escalated instantly, guns drawn, ready to blast Crawford into the spirit world.
- Only later — once his license was checked — did they realize who he was.
Imagine the scene: a man crowned as champion, celebrated worldwide, now standing in the street with his hands raised at Babylon’s gun barrels. One wrong twitch, one nervous cop finger, and Crawford’s children would inherit a funeral instead of a legacy.
This is the message: no amount of belts, no amount of millions, no amount of glory can shield the sons of Jacob from the curses decreed in Deuteronomy.
📖 Deuteronomy 28:16 — “Cursed shalt thou be in the city, and cursed shalt thou be in the field.”
⚖️ III. THE CURSE — JACOB’S TROUBLE IS UNIVERSAL
Terence Crawford’s ordeal is not random. It is prophetic confirmation.
- Black men in America are 3 times more likely to be killed by police than whites.
- 1 in 1,000 Black men in Babylon will die at police hands in their lifetime (PNAS, 2019).
- Wealth does not protect. Fame does not protect. Stats show even the richest celebrities face racial profiling, harassment, and violence.
Why? Because it is written:
📖 Deuteronomy 28:37 — “And thou shalt become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword, among all nations whither the LORD shall lead thee.”
From the poor man in the projects to the millionaire boxer in Omaha, Jacob’s Trouble has no exemptions.
🕋 IV. THE LESSON — BABYLON IS NOT OUR REST
The Most High set this up deliberately — a living parable before the sons of Jacob.
Crawford represents:
- Fame — worldwide recognition.
- Wealth — millions in the bank.
- Discipline — years of training and mastery.
And yet in an instant, he was reduced to another Black man with a gun pointed at his chest.
Yahawah is showing us: this land is polluted, this city is not our rest. Babylon will never give the sons of Jacob peace, no matter how high they climb.
📖 Jeremiah 50:33 — “Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The children of Israel and the children of Judah were oppressed together: and all that took them captives held them fast; they refused to let them go.”
🥊 V. THE VANITY OF BELTS — BOXING METAPHORS OF BABYLON
Crawford’s championship belts shine — but they are made of Babylon’s tin and leather.
- A belt cannot shield you from bullets.
- A referee cannot stop Babylon’s police from escalating to death.
- A crowd’s applause cannot undo Yahawah’s decree of curses.
Babylon crowns men in rings, but Yahawah crowns men in Zion.
📖 1 Corinthians 9:25 — “And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.”
The championship of this world is vanity. The only fight worth winning is the fight of faith.
💔 VI. THE WARNING — DON’T ENVY THE WICKED
If Crawford can be humiliated, so can every Israelite. Do not envy his riches. Do not chase his belts. Do not seek rest in Babylon’s promises.
📖 Proverbs 23:5 — “Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.”
Today it is Crawford, tomorrow it is another so-called “success story” — reduced to tears, handcuffs, or coffins.
The Most High is showing His sons: the only continuing city is Zion, the only rest is Yahawashi’s Kingdom.
🌄 VII. THE HOPE — OUR TRUE CITY
While Crawford was held at gunpoint, the angels watched. They mark these events not as random, but as signs.
- The true belt is the crown of life (James 1:12).
- The true rest is the Kingdom, not Babylon’s polluted streets.
- The true victory is not over Canelo, but over sin, death, and Esau’s empire.
📖 Revelation 2:10 — “Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.”
🔥 VIII. FINAL JUDGMENT — BABYLON’S RING WILL BURN
This parable is a trumpet: Babylon is not safe.
- The police are not your protectors; they are Yahawah’s sword of judgment.
- The courts are not your refuge; they are dens of lions.
- The economy is not your rest; it is vanity, destined for fire.
Yahawah will soon end the illusion of rest. He will send fire, war, famine, and chaos to show what He already told us in His Word.
📖 Revelation 18:4 — “Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.”
🔥 ALL PRAISE TO YAHAWAH BAHASHAM YAHAWASHI 🔥
This is not our rest. Zion is our city. The Kingdom is our crown.
Bartie Musa Commentary: No amount of boxing accolades, wealth, fame, or anything can protect you from the curses of Deuteronomy. Only faith and being under the pavilion of Yahawah bahasham Yahawashi can bring us true lasting peace and protection. Babylon will be done away with sooner than later, and then we will have our rest and not worry about trigger happy Edomite cops. Until then we continue to endure, and continue to wait patiently for the LORD Yahawah bahasham Yahawashi. Amen. The incident of Terence Crawford is a sober reminder to all brothers, that this is not your rest.
