Bartie Musa Commentary: Today the highly anticipated Trump-Putin direct talks too place. All we got out of it was a big nothing burger. The Eagle King Trump was unable to convince Bear King Putin to sign a bad deal of a 30-day truce to allow Ukraine to regroup. Instead in order to save face for the Eagle King, the Bear King has agreed to “temporarily” stop bombing Ukrainian energy infrastructure. A meaningless gesture, basically the Russians will just shift their focus to other targets but the war rages on nonetheless. The purpose of even agreeing to temporarily pause bombing Ukrainian infrastructure was to give the Eagle King a diplomatic win and to make him feel better.
